The Tree Top Flyers hosted a Fish Fry on Sunday, September 22nd, 2002. Several of us even stayed the whole weekend and enjoyed some great flying! Here are some photos of the event. Randy Berry (right) about to fry more fish with Don Forsberg (left) looking on. Karl Fields, Jim Summers and Ken Powers are shown in the background. Troy White (not shown) was in the background frying the french fries and hushpuppies. The firepit area .... where we enjoyed hamburgers, fries, drinks and good fellowship the Saturday night prior to the Sunday event. Jim, Karl, Troy and Randy took a cross country flight to Do-Little Field Saturday evening. What a beautiful flight! Joe, Clint and others joined us later in the evening. There was a beautiful full moon out that night. The weather turned out great too! Five members of the Trenton Flyers flew down. Here are the
planes from left to right: Karl's Spitfire, Larry's Challenger, Bill's
Firestar, Shack's Firestar, Robert's Mark III, Chuck's Firestar. Lauren

Rick Seierson also flew over early Sunday morning and enjoyed breakfast with Jim, Randy and Ron. Bill Alexander (of the Trenton Flyers) arrives in his beautiful Kolb Firestar. And Howard Shackelford (Shack. also of Trenton Flyers) in his very nice Kolb
Firestar. Shack is one of the most active Trenton Flyers; everyone
knows Shack Four of the Trenton Flyers, relaxing after having consumed mass quantities of fish
Chuck Reinhert takes to the air in his Kolb Firestar ... with Robert taxiing for takeoff in the background in his Kolb Mark III.
Thanks to those of you who attended for your support. General comments indicated that a great time was had by all. Thank God, we live in America, where we can enjoy these freedoms. |
