Clint Walker is shown above with his Murphy Renegade biplane. It has a Rotax 532 engine, but he has plans to install a different engine. It looks solid too ... with all those cables and struts! He traveled to Indiana to retrieve this beauty! Unfortunately, Clint has experienced some difficulties since these photos were taken, but we hope to see him flying again soon.

A side view of Clint in his beauty.

Above, Clint takes his Renegade up for the first time on August 17th, 2003.  He was going to just crow hop for awhile ... next thing we knew, Clint was in the wild blue yonder!

Now, if he can just "get this thing back on the ground?!" .. as he says.  Above, he is shown approaching for his first landing in the Renegade.  You may have to look closely ... he's just below the tree line.

No sweat! Well, maybe a little sweat? Here, he is shown taxiing in after an exhilarating, but successful, first flight!  He reported that the plane is very crisp and responsive with no bad tendencies noted.  He says you just have to move the stick a little, and it responds immediately!! Congratulations, Clint!
